@no1marauder saidLying about the US being in 21 wars?
Face facts, what I said was true; Trump's policies regarding overseas military meddling were even worse than his predecessor.
Lying about it doesn't change that fact.

@no1marauder saidThat is probably correct, there are reasons for war, you know, but it is a stretch to say 'more and more willingness...blah blah..'.
The more we intervene in other countries and kill their People, the more likely such asymmetrical retaliatory attacks become. More and more and more military and more and more willingness to use it all over the world makes the problem worse; it doesn't solve it.
You have to define what you mean by the phrase 'the problem'.
@mott-the-hoople saidYou don't have "combat" at a canasta tournament but in armed conflicts i.e. wars.
Lying about the US being in 21 wars?

Wow, Trump started 21 wars.
Is it hard on you being this stupid?

@mott-the-hoople saidI never said he started them, so you can put that falsehood away. You asked:

Mott: how many wars was the US in under Trump?
My source said US troops were engaged in combat in 14 countries and either bombing or drone strikes in 7 others.
@no1marauder saidMaybe continued, but he did not worsen it.
What policies? He intensified US involvement in Iraq, removed restrictions on drone strikes that caused additional civilian deaths and US troops remained in Afghanistan after he left office. He also supported Saudi Arabia's war in Yemen and Israeli's brutal repression of Palestinians.
Whatever his rhetoric, by his actions he continued and worsened US military meddling.
All of that was supported by Obama. Drone strikes have increased with every administration. That is just the trend with the new technology.
@metal-brain saidIf you want to nitpick, he slightly or somewhat worsened it. More countries were involved and he removed some safeguards which had reduced the risk of civilian deaths during drone strikes in particular.

I didn't vote for Obama either time because of his continued support of military interventionism.
@no1marauder saidMarauder, do you really think we should recall all of our troops from around the world?
I never said he started them, so you can put that falsehood away. You asked:

Hate to put you on the spot.
@averagejoe1 saidI didn't say that. I said:

"It's my opinion the US military should be cut in at least half and withdrawn from most of its bases all over the world. "
@metal-brain saidI get why you always post Rumble links.
It is like suzi is in congress after accepting donations from Jeffrey Epstein.

@no1marauder saidOh. Good thinking. Do y’all use that kind of thinking as well when you are trying to help the justices interpret the constitution.?
I didn't say that. I said:

@mott-the-hoople saidJesus are so thick that you cannot see that the answer to your question is ‘21’ it doesn’t matter how many times you ask it.

Why don’t you just edit your question to how many wars did Trump start or escalate during his presidency?
@kevcvs57 saidthe answer to my question is one…and Trump was ending it.

it is nice of you to try and help marerider out though
@averagejoe1 saidSuch thinking would be in line with the Framers who would be flabbergasted to know that the US would eventually have an overseas military empire with 750 bases in 80 countries (https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/9/10/infographic-us-military-presence-around-the-world-interactive), would spend 40% of the world's "defense" spending and have a system where the President has almost carte blanche authority to send troops into combat or bomb whatever country he pleases or drone strike any person he desires.
Oh. Good thinking. Do y’all use that kind of thinking as well when you are trying to help the justices interpret the constitution.?
