This particular sicko was convivted of child rape of an 8 yr old boy, served his full sentence of 4 whole years and was as free as he could be.
Got any 8 yr old sons? Do you care about him? Would you kill to protect him from such as these?

Got a light?

Let's make sure we're clear here - would you kill your neighbor's 8 year old son to protect your son from someone who might never hurt him?

damn it, people, we could worry less if child abuse would be punished with something... let's say... more... drastic.

I find few things in this world as horrible as abusing a child.

Well, it's not something I have any personal investment in, since I don't have kids. Starting fires definitely seems to be an unreasonable way of dealing with this. Fires have this habit of spreading and a lot of kids die or have their lives ruined that way too...
I agree, I was more for the breaking of a few bones myself. Up close and personal .. a message delivered.
Dangerous but effective.

Well, there's this problem...our prisons are filled with prostitutes and marijuana dealers. We might be able to deal with the child molestors a bit more effectively if we weren't putting so many resources into locking up stoners and hookers.

dude, that is so easy to solve. legalize wacky tobacci and prostitution.

however, even before that happens, child abusers can be castrated. or better yet, sent to the gas chamber.

Clarify please .. I don't get what your meaning is.

I'd drive the 90 miles up the 5 to ElLay and kill you tonight if it protected my children.

I think we can all agree on that.
I'm in the zero tollerance for pedophiles camp myself. One conviction and life in prison .. F U forever if you can't figure out how wrong that is.

Unfortunately, if we could all agree on that, those laws would be gone.

My point is that extreme measures are unreasonable for minor potential threats. You're not shooting every male you see because someday they might rape your kid are you?

What ever you believe should happen to him (e.g. get the death penalty, serve more time in prison etc.). As the law stands currently, he has served his time and should be left alone. I wouldn't be keen on him living in my neighbourhood, but the decision has been made and I have no right to say that he needs to move away.

If this isn't suitable for this type of crime, then the law should be changed for future cases.

About 2 weeks ago the local police came to my door passing out a flyer on a pedophile that's moved into the neighborhood.
Had his picture, address, car and all sorts of information on the flyer.
The next day I drove by his house to check it out. He was only 2 blocks away and across the street from the local elementary school.
He drew a crowd and never left ...[text shortened]... ur local regestry, he may be in your neighborhood now.
It was a little too hot for him here.
Nice to see that parts of the U.S. haven't changed a whole pile since the days of public lynchings.

I also find it interesting how you justify attempted murder and using terror tactics.

A not very nice man, not too long ago, thought very similarly to you. The gas chambers were his solution to people he saw as being vermin as well. 🙄

Its hard to say. I don't know about Canada, but custodial sentences in most countries are done to spite criminals, not to rehabilitate them.
