With the now blatant realisation that the electorate of the USA are incapable of making rational decisions for themselves, instead gorging themselves on propaganda from Nazis and unchristian fundamentalists and thus displaying their unbeliveable stupidity for all the world to see has the time come to remove the democratic right from a Nation who have routinely embarrassed themselves on the world stage at every opportunity.
Should the Canadian electorate be charged with electing the USA politicians for the USA because of the extremely low levels of intelligence within the USA, would it not be the christian and neighbourly thing to do.
Europeans should set up a help the USA fund immediately to finance proper elections and a peaceful transition of regime change for the good of the unfortunate souls that live within it's borders

Bwahahahahaha!!

Funny this coming from an idiot from Belfast. One of the last remnants of the British colonial empire. When you learn to govern yourselves then feel free to give us a lecture.

No. I think Americans should elect Canadian politicians as well as the leaders of all western nations. Since we lead the west, we should have control over who we lead.

Don't worry little buddy, Ireland is safe. The Irish are not worth leading.

In 10 years time the president of the US will simply be a puppet of the Chinese, much as Tony Blair is GWB's pooch now.

They don't need to take military action with all that cheap labour & economic & technological growth. Not to mention those natural resources at their disposal.

Believe me, the good ole US of A will be kissing butt bigtime...

So far it would be pretty easy for the U.S. To put a crimp on the Chinese rise.

Simply not importing Chinese goods would slow them down.

As far as I'm aware the US is in trade deficit to China by around $8 billion.
What that means put simply, is that America needs Chinese goods more than China needs US goods & services.

A lot of the imports are basic electrical & manufactured goods & clothing & textiles. They are bought & sold because they are relatively cheap.
Banning the imports of such goods would add inflationary pressure on the US economy.
Also, a carpet ban on trade with China would crash Wall St instantly.

Please try to think before you post such nonsense.

Hey, what happens if Chinese products are substituted by Mexican
equivalents, their price lowered by decree?

(it is a serious question; economy is not my strenght)

A lot of these products are used as components in other goods. Manufacturing firms buy them from China then sell the finished product in the US market.
Many of the major exporting firms in China will have negotiated long-term contracts, so the US buyers can't just switch at a whim.

Well, indirectly I guess. First the UK should revoke the US's independence 😀

The trouble is, we really do have WMDs. Really. Big ones. Even Hans Blix could find these suckers.
