@sonhouse saidYour tunes sound like crunchy crickets with hot sauce, khrub? π
I did see those 'crunchy crickets' in Thailand. My Teloc took me to an outdoor food court and there was this bowl of some kind of big black bugs trying to get out of the bowl but sliding back every time. So she reaches in and grabs on, dips it in some sauce and crunches it down.
That was totally unexpected, I'm going mentally O M Gπ
Did you ever hear some of my tunes or did you have trouble finding me if you went there, that isπ
@KingDavid403 saidNo police officers or anyone else was murdered Jan 6, except for one of the protesters. Stop lying.
Libtards in Canada are just as bad and aggressive as in the US.
Funny; neither has had a January 6th where police officers and others were murdered like with the violent aggressive trumptards.

Another Trumptarded liar lying as usual; that's all they have, false witness, lies, and murder.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidYou are the one talking about China, not me. I lived in Thailand for years and that is as close as I want to be, as great a country as Thailand is, I would not want to live there permanently.
Like China, which is being discussed here?
You really are demented.

@sonhouse saidOn my side from the other side of the planet, it seems that VietNam is popping culturally, but I might die before I ever dared to cross the street. π

Japan has both snow and style.
Hong Kong is stifled.
Taiwan is free for now, and has some handsome guys with nice eyebrows.
@Arkturos saidFree for how long? Now that Trump is seen as a weak coward, China HAS to be taking notice and may do the Taiwan invasion even sooner now.

War analysts have said Taiwan will not be a pushover because of the terrain.
@sonhouse saidYeah, that, and the PRC has also been having some success in developing their own PC chips.

But the people of Taiwan keep on making TV shows and movies and painting watercolors. They also have been free to talk about horrible stuff from their own history (e.g., the game, movie, and series "Detention" about the era of White Terror in Taiwan).
Interestingly, Netflix came out with their western "Zero Day" series first, but Taiwan has also been advertising its own "Zero Day" series, which will start airing in May.
Despite having been occupied by Japan for a while, I think Taiwan thinks well of Japan, so maybe they might have some kind of Mothra pact?

As for the PRC, as a meager student of history I'm happy for their successes and hope that they can develop the new while preserving the old.
It was disappointing that the PRC essentially shut down free expression in HK about 25 years before the end of the handover agreement they had with GB -- but on the other hand it's understandable, inasmuch as GB had been one of several foreign invaders.
An unfortunate possible further development is that Cantonese might die out within the next few decades, both locally and in the diaspora.

@Arkturos saidThat's the other thing about Indonesia, it's very big, they'd never find me.....
Thank you for your comments, and also for bringing to mind the aspect of living in a healthy environment with good air quality. This also helps me to appreciate my current location (which of course I dare not disclose in this pit of vipers π ).
@Indonesia-Phil saidIsn't Indonesia a country that if you criticize the government you go to jail?
