So why wasn't methane demonized by Al Gore and only CO2? Methane does not result from the burning of fossil fuels, so if the goal is to tax fossil fuels methane would not work. That explains the selective bias even though both lag behind temps in the ice core samples.
Methane is the kryptonite of global warming alarmists. It makes their arguments super weak when you bring it up.
