What tickles me is that the Brits call the Americans “Yanks”.
But in the US, “Yank” is someone from above the Mason-Dixie line.

Anyhoo. If someone asks you how you are, in English:
“I’m doing well.” Means that you are doing good and healthy.
“I’m fine.” Means you’re not doing bad. Not quite as good as doing well.

So “well” goes with a hearty physical reaction... nodding the head (that’s about as hearty as I can get).
And “fine” is accompanied by a half shrug and a wincing of the left eye.

Duchess I have many times said women have a right to get an abortion. I also say it is none of my business. You would agree???

Biden's already talking about a third round of stimulus checks, and with a never ending series of unemployment extensions a lot of people will never have to work again.

The real thing to worry about the new administration is the way they intend to structure the power in government’ After such matters as the filibuster and packing the court etc. etc., it will be impossible to undo, and life will truly end as we know it. You know I just hate it, I’m not gonna qualify for all that free stuff. Guess I will just give my children free stuff!
