So why all the blowback, it is true. Nothing much to say, I think she is really bad. If Trump were pushing a bill to have hotel guests stay for free, but at the same time, charge for rooms in HIS hotels, you would be all over it.

I mean, it's nice that you are concerned for her financial well-being, since you apparently believe, along with most Republicans, that canceling these rent payments is somehow "theft of personal property". Just as apparently, she does not feel this way. You call her a hypocrite, yet she co-sponsored this bill. She knows what she is doing. Her bill does not exclude her tenants, so I don't see why you call her a hypocrite just because you don't like what she's doing. She also supports the moratorium on eviction. It appears that she's one of the very few landlords who are actual human beings. I can see why you seem confused over this. Would you have all of your residents "out on the street"? Apparently so. How much rent would you be collecting then?

IF this lady has any morals, she would get behind the bill and stop collecting rent now. Defend her all you want. She is a hypocrite.
Hey. If a congressman named Trump had a Bill to give "Payment-of-room-rate" rate relief to people in hotel rooms, but Trump continues to collect the rates at his hotels, you know, as liberals, that you would change your tune on this subject.
