This is not something new. Fascist white supremacist groups have been in Portland from long before these latest protests. They're just using the presence of BLM and Antifa to start fights and raise hell, just like they've always done since long before BLM showed up. The twist now is blaming their actions on BLM.

Hopefully the DOJ will do a full investigation of his accomplices and bring them all to justice. It will be interesting to see how a 17 year old got access to an AR15 (possession of which is illegal for a minor in his home state), who brought him across State lines and who started this conspiracy.
There appear to be numerous federal crimes involved, some of which might be death penalty eligible. Maybe someone in Barr's office can take time off from working for Trump's election to deal with the threat right wing extremists are posing to this country:

kid shot and killed in Georgia by two sentries keeping autos out of their zone.
As far as being a libertarian is concerned, I *always* allow people to be able to defend themselves.
If the cops can't/won't defend, then the PEACEFUL PROTESTERS are responsible for the ensuing chaos.
End of story.
