SAN FRANCISCO, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Tesla (TSLA.O), is beginning deliveries of its Semi trucks to a first set of customers this week, executives said at its plant in Sparks, Nevada, almost nine years after CEO Elon Musk unveiled the electric big rigs.
The Semi, designed for long-haul freight, expands the market for Tesla, known for its electric sedans and SUVs, into commercial freight haulers at a time when diesel prices in the US have soared to record highs.
Its in Elon's best interest for diesel prices to remain high enough to send truckers out of business? And Trump is doing his bit to keep diesel prices high! And what are truckers going to do? What are their options???

Will some just wait for diesel to return to affordable prices, even though waiting means zero income which could send them to the wall.

EV robot trucks are better than the immigrants driving transport trucks and killing people left and right.
It's a nightmare in the USA and Canada right now with immigrants who were just given licences and next to no training.
I'll be happy when the robot trucks eliminate all dangerous truck drivers like we have now.
