What a peculiar mentality. I've never felt like I was "winning" when a candidate I voted for did well in the election. I just try to find the least worst option and hope they don't screw things up too badly. And I have actual choices!

It’s the colour of old people freezing to death in their homes and the colour of 350.000 homeless people dying on the streets.

It’s basically the colour of little kids on the floors of hospitals too.

To me and most adults who have ascended beyond a tribal mentality, elections are not about "winning" but about trying to get competent people into positions of lawmaking so that beneficial policies are effected.
