If you were American and in the NG how soon could you get there? Some of those people have jobs and are working. They would have to go home, tell the family he is leaving and why. Go to wherever they meet, drive to the Capitol. The traffic was probably horrible there. I'm pretty sure not all of those protesters walked there.
