Kash Patel is a well known political hack and liar. Trump's own acting Secretary of Defense, Christopher Miller, shot down this BS under oath (which, of course, Patel has never been under):

Stop relying on liars and fringe sites. Trump ordered the DC National Guard deployed to Washington in June 2020 because of demonstrations related to George Floyd's killing and then ordered them to leave:

"The D.C National Guard was formed in 1802 by President Thomas Jefferson to defend the newly created District of Columbia. As such, the Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard is subordinate solely to the President of the United States. This authority to activate the D.C. National Guard has been delegated, by the President, to the Secretary of Defense and further delegated to the Secretary of the Army. The D.C. National Guard is the only National Guard unit, out of all of the 54 states and territories, which reports only to the President.

About 10 seconds in.

Of course, he lied about that but it is an admission he could have done so if he wanted to contrary to the lies of Patel which you so stupidly accepted without checking any alternate sources.

Presidents have deployed the National Guard before, but they used the Insurrection Act which does not violate the Posse Comitatus Act. That is your so called loophole.

The irony is that the POTUS could not use the Insurrection Act to stop what democrats falsely claim was an insurrection. The FBI said it was not an insurrection, but democrats have been brainwashed into thinking it was. Like the Journey song goes, "don't stop believing".

So here is my question to those brainwashed democrats. If it was an insurrection why couldn't Trump invoke the Insurrection Act?

How do you know that was a lie? Once the Capitol Building was breached he could use the Insurrection Act. Right?

Because no order to deploy the National Guard was given for hours:

""At 1:49 p.m., I received a frantic call from then-chief of U.S. Capitol Police, Steven Sund, where he informed me that the security perimeter at the Capitol had been breached by hostile rioters," Walker testified.

"Chief Sund, his voice cracking with emotion, indicated that there was a dire emergency on Capitol Hill and requested the immediate assistance of as many guardsmen as I could muster."

Walker said he "immediately" alerted Army senior leadership of the request. He was not informed of the required approval from then-acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller until 5:08 p.m., he said — "3 hours and 19 minutes later."

My link already explained that the DC National Guard is not subject to the Posse Comitatus Act:
