It’s reported the Taliban let free the prisoners. I presume Taliban prisoners.
I mean, everyone else just gets executed.
Now that the US is gone, they are free from their prisons to ravage the country.

Anyone know any Taliban history?
Well, here's a quick summary as once told by an old retired ex-Taliban man:
Decades ago the Afghan citizens were being robbed and harassed by their own police. This activity kept escalating to where people were getting beaten and even raped in addition of getting robbed. Then one day they raped two young girls in a really bad way, and the people snapped; a whole bunch of fathers got together, paid a visit to the police station, and killed everyone there. Those fathers suddenly became heroes to the people, acquired new members and started cleaning-up all the corruption. They became the Taliban and gained full support from the common people.
