I will show you corruption at the top. So lets go back to 2016. Bill Clinton had a conversation with the AG ATT, Loretta Lynch. So there was a chance meeting between the two lasting maybe a half hour having run into each other on the tarmac.

The right wing media went total bananas and continued for MONTH after MONTH.

HUGE corruption case.
Now lets fast forward to today.

Bondi, Patel and VP Vance met IN THE WHITE HOUSE to discuss two issues, the Epstein files case and firing of FBI agents whose job it was to investigate possible crimes by Trump based on the Jan 6 insurrection and the fact Trump stole hundreds of top secret and above TS docs storing them in unsecured places.

So the NEXT DAY after that meeting those FBI agents who BTW had been in the FBI serving at the top of their game with top scores for competence, fired with no due process, which is the way FBI agents are supposed to be fired.

Not in this case, the firings were 100% political and the 2016 meeting between Clinton and Lynch was hit upon for a year as corruption in plain sight.

So tell me how this meeting was any different, different all right because AG and FBI head are supposed to run based on FACTS and evidence and LAW.

Not any more, this was a FLAGRANT violation of the supposed independence of those three branches of government.

Before Trump or the Clinton case it was a hard fast rule, TOTAL independence from WH interference with AG's and FBI.

Now they are violating that VERY long standing agreement OUT IN THE OPEN, 100% CORRUPTION in plain sight.

The issues talked about were reported by their aides. AG should not even APPROACH the WH much less have a triple meeting in the WH like she did and with Patel who should ALSO be totally independent of Trump.

Now it is TRUMP calling the POLITICAL shots for both agencies.
So tell me that is NOT corruption, blowing by centuries of independence by those agencies.

Trump is purging the FBI in plain sight ANYONE who investigated him.

Hundreds or thousands already fired and more to come.

Decimating the rank and file of the FBI.

Moral inside the FBI has reportedly at an all time low and people are
quitting like the dude who just got fired a lifelong agent who BTW was
republican and right wing but apparently not right wing enough,
he was ordered to investigate Trump and he did so that makes him
a political enemy and hundreds of other agents got the same boot BECAUSE they were ORDERD to investigate Trump.

So defend THAT crap.

For me, Sonhouse, I am relying on people TODAY whom I trust (you would not trust......i don't trust rachel maddow, you do, such as that...). to disseminate what is going on. How else would we know?? We are not there. Our reporters, that we trust, are there. Without them, my only other source would be You, who sees Trump under every rock. I brought up a previous case of just one instance of possible corruption by Clinton which I thought you would jump on as OBVIOUS corruption where an AG is clearly supposed to be TOTALLY independent and after FACTS and TRUTH and JUSTICE and LAW.

There are TWO issues in my post and a history example. Too much for your small mind. This wasn't about Trump. it was and is about a SCANDAL of epic proportions.
The FIRST TIME IN US HISTORY a political trio was composed of the head of the FBI and the Attorney General. TOP of their agencies SUPPOSED to be totally independent of politics. You clearly can't see it but I bet you were screaming your head off at Clinton meeting with the AG ATT. that set off the right wing media for months.
Now we have TWO heads of agencies at the WH talking political solutions to their problems when they BOTH should be working with the LAW, with Truth, with FACTS. There was NONE of that in that meeting, ONLY in pursuing a political hit job and protecting the president. BOTH political issues NOT law or national security.
