@AverageJoe1 saidMaybe its too much to ask you guys to catch up on your own history, but,...
It is the liberal who associate apes with being black. Are they thus racist?
That’s my point, this can be spun many many ways. Number one, we don’t know if Trump is behind this or not. And generally speaking, it is a total forest of every liberal politician dressed in different ways. TDS requires that you put Trump as a lion, mainly for all the things that he does in ...[text shortened]... I would not likely spend my time talking about whether he did it or not.
So sayeth average Joe
The association of Black people with apes and monkeys is a long-standing, deeply rooted racist trope in the United States, particularly within the American South, designed to dehumanize Black individuals and justify slavery, segregation, and racial violence
. This dehumanization tactic, or "simianization," has roots dating back to the 18th century and has evolved through various forms of "scientific" and popular racism.
Historical Roots and Evolution
18th-19th Century "Science": During the era of slavery, white intellectuals and proponents of slavery used pseudo-scientific theories to place Africans closer to apes on the "Great Chain of Being". In 1854, Types of Mankind by Nott and Gliddon, a prominent American text, included illustrations that compared Black people to chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans.
Pro-Slavery Justification: Proponents of slavery used this imagery to argue that Black people were not fully human, treating them as subhuman, beast-like creatures.
Post-Darwinian Misconceptions: Even after Darwin’s On the Origin of Species (1859), social Darwinists and proponents of scientific racism argued that Black people were less evolved than whites, or "closer to apes".
Jim Crow and Popular Culture: In the 20th century, the depiction of Black people as apes became entrenched in popular culture, in media, and in segregationist rhetoric to dehumanize them, particularly in the Jim Crow South. This was used to create a perception of Black men as savage "beasts" or "brutes," which was used to justify lynchings and justify segregation.
@kmax87 saidyeah, but anyway, do your people thiknk that a president with the sense of ours would be involved in creating/publishing the video,,,,,he has no reason to, Obama is zero importance in any realm, and the president is campaigning, today, and for 9 more months, for VOTES.

@kmax87 saidYou are exactly right. This is a major shame of America, which a shocking number of people here are still okay with.

Even after we fought a Civil War over it, we still had stifling demonization of black people for well over a hundred years in this country, still happening by the more stupid people, even today.
Today, these people are the most strident of voices against reparations, which is pretty much them admitting their hate.

One of the most blatant racist POS post Trump EVER did and he pulled it 12 hours later because of blowback BY HIS OWN PEOPLE.
You can scroll down to see that disgusting image he no doubt picked up surfing the net rather than doing stuff like oh maybe DOING HIS ...[text shortened]... is sorry orange ass out of prison where he RICHLY deserves to spend the rest of his sociopathic ass.
He did not, there is not a shred of evidence to that effect'.
Suzianne would brand you a liar!, yes, a Liar/
You violate the 48 hour rule, Sonhouse. When something shocking hits the air waves, let some time pass to get all the facts. Wait 48 hours. You will know more upon which you base your diatribes that way.
You once again, what's new, allow your TDSyndrome to rule over you!!!
But a good learning experience. Glad to point that out. Alas, I guess we will never know who created that video.
Did you hear where the CEO of John Deere said to Trump, in response Trump's asking him why he is building factories in the USA (hiring your Uncle Hershey).,, ...that 'I am doing it because of your tariff policies".
Trump kicked his butt, and yours.
He also told Trump, if you had NOT done tariffs, I would still have my factories overseas.
@Earl-of-Trumps saidWell it certainly isn't round, more like oblong....
Cripes. Is this miserable thread still around?
@AverageJoe1 saidOh, so when Trump said and I FKING QUOTE, when asked about the ape picture, he goes ''It was not a mistake''.
