@no1marauder saidWe will see how much of Afghanistan the Taliban recaptured during Trump's time.
I already did in another thread; guess I'll have to find that AGAIN too.
Trump's even more of an absurd and blatant liar then you.

@eladar saidThe panel of experts painted a grim picture of the violence in Afghanistan, which had been expected to decrease in 2020 but instead soared to the highest level ever recorded by the United Nations in the country — more than 25,000 incidents, a 10% increase over 2019.
Perhaps you could provide the link with all the Taliban violence during Trump's presidency.
Here is Trump's take

the Pentagon had said the Taliban had not met pledges to reduce violence, which has soared since the militants began peace talks with the Afghan government in September. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-54980141
@shavixmir saidyou libs keep avoiding the problem...the way in which withdrawal is being handled. Why remove the military FIRST? unless you wanted chaos
It is not what Biden claims.
Biden has been in favour of getting out of Afghanistan for a decade or so.
What trump did do was attempt to bargain with the Taliban. And he wanted out of Afghanistan by May.
Ergo, this same situation would have happened.
20 years… good lord.

More troops are being sent in to make the evacuation area secure, but as of yesterday: "The United States military evacuated evacuated approximately 1,100 US citizens, permanent residents and their families on 13 flights from Afghanistan on Tuesday, a White House official said."
"To date, more than 3,200 people have been evacuated and nearly 2,000 Afghan special immigrants have been relocated to the United States."

@no1marauder saidAh, so no numbers, just opinion you agree with.

Typical.
@no1marauder saidYes, what are the incidents? How many villages were overrun with Taliban?
"more than 25,000 incidents, a 10% increase over 2019."
No numbers?
You really are making a complete fool of yourself.
Give some real numbers with actual description.
@eladar saidIt's been mentioned. The Taliban weren't taking over because US troops were physically present in Afghanistan. As soon as we left, the plan was they would take over. That's exactly what happened.
We will see how much of Afghanistan the Taliban recaptured during Trump's time.
Trump was smart enough to plan the withdrawal for after the election so he wouldn't suffer politically.
I'm honestly appalled by all the conservatives calling America weak after all this. You wanted this. It's not a Joe Biden thing. This was Trump's plan and the right move.
@no1marauder saidI appreciate your efforts but it seems like none of these brainwashed Trumpers read your posts or links. They don't care. It doesn't matter what happens. If Biden does something, its bad. If Biden doesn't do something, it's bad. If Trump does or does not do something it's good. The actual events that take place are irrelevant.

@eladar saidUnder Trump, the US stopped reporting how much of the country was under Taliban control, how much was under government control and how much was contested in 2018. https://www.npr.org/2019/05/01/719018027/the-u-s-public-will-no-longer-have-a-key-data-point-about-afghanistan-war
