You know, I have often noted to you fellers that you are into 'comedy'. You are NOT into humor, a hallmark of us Conservatives. Note that the late-night shows are labeled 'Comedy Show', never humor show. Why? Because comedy is not spontaneous.

@AThousandYoung saidKimmel has been extremely cruel to Trump on his Late Night Political Show. Left comedy behind, thus leaving viewership behind. My granny said all along that these shows would fail with the influence of Trump. One influential guy. Did you see the clip on Hunter’s profanity-laced interview?

Golly! Are ALL of you libs just mad as hell?.

"the decision comes at the same time as Paramount’s pending $8.4bn merger with Skydance, the media and film production giant, which requires approval from the Trump administration."
@AThousandYoung saidThe more obvious explanation, though, is that streaming and YouTube are killing the conventional television model.

@Philokalia saidThat and the President sued Colbert's company for ten billion dollars.

Maybe Trump just needs to put on his big-boy pants, like every other president.
@AverageJoe1 saidAbsolutely nothing about Trump is funny, except maybe his micro-penis.

@Suzianne saidThe constitution says he has to do it. Are you following the constitution in one thread, and not following it in another?? Help me rhonda?

Hey did you see the news, the new minimum wage $20/ hour in CA has cost EIGHTEEN THOUSAND jobs. Your people did not think ahead. No one on this Forum thinks ahead, either. Even the eloquent Spruce, thinks we should support anyone who needs support in the USA. He justifies his position by saying that we MUST do so, in accordance with the constitution, or something like that. He does not quite nail down any common sense, though.
Hey did you see where your leader, Carville, says Dems need to repeal everything that Trump has done, reopen the borders, etc, rather than propose a positive agenda? Repeal the bill, repeal the tax cuts, raise taxes on all income groups?
Hey they are blaming Colbert firing on Trump!!!!
@Philokalia saidThe constant lawsuits from the government regarding speech are a big part of it. Network execs are obviously worried about how their content will be treated by the political class.
The more obvious explanation, though, is that streaming and YouTube are killing the conventional television model.
They were just sued successfully for editing an interview with Kamala. It's a freedom of speech issue.
@AThousandYoung saidExplain how “right wing” has anything to do with this

It worked for a short time. Now the people have wised up, that’s why dems are cratering.
