@mott-the-hoople saidSo every news story from 2017 is fake?
you post a link from 2017, during the russia hoax...are you fuking crazy?
You keep giving people reasons to insult your intelligence.

@mott-the-hoople saidNo. You're being ridiculous. The two cases are hardly comparable. Biden hadn't nearly the quantity Trump ran off with, there is reason to believe Biden genuinely did not know what was in his possession, and he voluntarily complied with requests to turn the documents over. Trump did none of that.
" Keeping boxes and boxes of classified material in a bathroom cannot be considered anything but criminally negligent and a breach of national security.'
So biden should be impeached right now?
Biden did not show off his documents to people without security clearances; Trump did.
@mott-the-hoople saidYes, Trump showed them off to people without security clearances.
have you, or anyone seen these documents?

@mott-the-hoople saidThere was no hoax about it.

But you think it was a hoax.
You've been duped. Again.
@moonbus saidbiden had documents in four different places, even his carport.

As a senator he had no authority to be in possession, much less remove them.
There is proof was selling info to foreign adversaries, even recordings.
You are right, that are not the same.

The National Archives and Records Administration says the boxes of files referenced in that figure are actually Biden’s Senate papers, which are housed at the University of Delaware. The federal agency told The Associated Press the files of Congress members are considered their personal property and are not subject to the same restrictions as presidential records
As usual, you don't know what you're talking about.
@moonbus said"Trump knew very well he had them, stored them in unsecured locations"
I have a strong suspicion, which will probably never be proven in his lifetime, that he is nowhere near as rich as he pretends to be, that he is heavily in debt (most likely to some Russian oligarch(s)), and that he hoped and intended to sell or trade classified documents for debt relief. It would be very hard to prove intent, and I doubt the govt would even try to prove that ...[text shortened]... a bathroom cannot be considered anything but criminally negligent and a breach of national security.
Would they have been more secure on Anthony Weiner's computer? It is my understanding the documents Trump had were in a locked room. Were Biden's?

@metal-brain saidIt is totally irrelevant what Biden did or didn’t do. In one sense Trump is right: this show is all about HIM. He made this mess for himself.

Trump’s real crime: refusal to accept accountability for his actions. Refusal to submit to the rule of law. He’s innocent until proven guilty, of course, but his legal strategy is always the same: denounce, disrupt, discredit the legal system itself instead of cooperating with it. Try everything to prevent a fair trial(or a fair election) from even taking place; these are not the actions of a man sane people should want in a position of great power.
@moonbus saidNo it isn't. If others did the same thing and didn't have to accept accountability for it why would it not be relevant?

Why don't you just admit this is a double standard of injustice and you are fine with that because you hate Trump?
@mott-the-hoople saidTrump is part of the establishment. Trump did not even object to the search warrant he said was so horrible. He is a fake. This whole scandal was created by Trump himself. He helped it along so he can pretend to be the anti establishment fake that he is. The establishment is also helping it along to give Trump the media attention that will insure good poll numbers for him. If the establishment really hated him as much as they are pretending to they would ignore him instead of giving him the media attention the will insure the GOP primary nomination.
Trumps crime is being against the washington establishment, both dem and repub.
