Putin’s plan is obvious, hunker down as near to the Russian border as possible and bombard the Ukrainian civilian population into abject misery in the hope they’ll give him an off ramp that he can dress up as a victory.
Spoiler alert: it probably won’t work and all the while his military including his stocks of missiles will be degrading.

Just what is already in the stores. There will be no electricity. Dogs will be snatched to kill and eat. People will kill other people just for food. Then there is water. Rainwater will be contaminated with radiation. better hope there is enough go around. Then there might be out of control forest fires.

Russia is no longer a world power militarily speaking China and the USA are the only military powers that could wage a world war. Russia is back to what its always been, a regional power, the German retreat in 44/45 handed Russia an exhausted eastern and Central Europe on a plate but that’s done now and they ain’t getting to come back
