Kirksey hasn't limited himself to the literal meanings either.

fault. 😉 You probably did something wrong somewhere. 😉
I don't keep stock of the way in which people say things; I'm more
interested in content than presentation. You'll find, for example,
that StarValleyWy will occassionally say something wildly profound
amongst his (self-admitted) drunken ramblings.
Education is an effort. If people don't want to wade through 50 lame
or insulting posts for the one or two good ones, I don't blame them,
but I won't tolerate the claim that those one or two good ones don't
exist.

It could be Nemesio that you are aiming your guns at the wrong persons.
Who do you think are the "idiots" and what do they do on the forums ?

in a global fashion. I aim as circumstances dictate. The point is
Omnislash is aiming his guns at everyone. That is my objection.
When someone posts something with which I have a problem, I
respond. When someone posts something with which I agree,
I respond. When someone posts something stupid, I move on,
unless there is grounds for disagreement, in which case, I respond
(as indicated above).
For the record, I do not think that you are an idiot, if that was
your concern.

or pretend to forget it, but the notion that Christians do not
have to do any work is not supportable. By virtue of being
Christian, you are a worker. The two are the same thing:
Christian = worker = saved
If you are saved at the end of your life, then you worked
between the time you were saved and the time you died.
The 'good thief' did work: he defended Jesus from persecution.
Then they broke his legs and died. The 'good thief' did what
little he could.
Christian = worker = saved. If you take away one, according
to Christian Scripture, you cannot have the other two.
Having 'faith in Christ' means being a 'worker' (among other
things, according to Scripture).
