US military aid in the Middle East is US domestic redistribution of wealth. Almost none of the $60 billion will leave the US. It certainly isn't money "lost" or "spent". It's just "moved".

But when the $10,000,000,000 is moved from a Government building in Washington DC to several corporate HQ buildings, also in Washington DC (figuratively speaking), it is, of course, NOT "redistribution of wealth". It is "aid" to the Middle East.

It's important whether the tax payers want the Gov't to spend our money on what. One way is democratic. the other is Socialistic. Something tells me i missed your point.
