Biden used that one example because of threats he saw.
Trump on the other hand thinks of tariffs as a way to prove he is the strong guy on the world stage. He already said it, "I run the country and I run the world''
The thing is he does neither, he is a weak old man and his mind is failing him, instead of tackling problems with the US he ADDS to those problems.
Biden was WAY ahead of Trump and BTW you want to ignore the bills he DID pass, like the infrastructure bill Trump never COULD pass even though he though he owned congress. And the Chips bill which now Trump is copycat on, in his pathetic attempt to have people believe that was HIS idea, make chips here.
Trump is out of his depth, Biden was in it for half a century making deals, getting both parties together.
Trump managed to split America apart like nobody in 250 years.
