The cred being lost, is by morons, like Trump, saying they stole our oil.

It was never our oil.
That was political rhetoric about what he had done and he said they stole oil.. If they stole our oil rights, I guess he is correct to say that they stole our oil. If I have a right to my car and you steal my car, you have stolen my car and Suzanne,…… You have stolen my right to the car. Jesus
, I’m sorry that liberals have to listen to what he says and try to screw it all up for everybody else. Luckily everybody else knows what he was saying ,apparently for except you.

Bought you the one that hates my perfect analogies.?!?

'Gunboat diplomacy' is an incredibly bad joke, given that Trump has murdered over a hundred people in motorboats off the coast of Venezuela.
"Gunboat diplomacy" was not a joke. It's just a term I'm not surprised you don't know.

Maduro should be killed. Not abducted.

Israel was attacked, women were raped, children were killed.
Hostages were taken and abused.
Natanyhu held back. He should have wiped that place clean with a few nukes.

Those Palestinian cockroaches deserve what they got in return and more.

You are a sick retard. Take your disgusting Muslim mentality and GFY.
look everyone, a dikhead

Oh, because he’s a murderer, it’s okay for him to be abducted eh?

Well, let’s abduct Netenyahu then, eh?

You absolute retard.
Why wasn’t Obama abducted. 4000 kills. Writing with you libs is like playing Clue or some other board game,, maybe “Who Did What When “. Instead of rolling dice, you get to access google, u can only use 3 words! The ones with most kills goes to jail. Extra points if Obama is nailed.

Just because it has been used in the past by other president doesn't make it right.

Bringing it up now just shows poor taste, especially after killing over a hundred Venezulans at sea.

Perhaps Trump should have used Nixon's Madman Theory instead. Totally believable, that one.

Conservatives often find diplomacy boring or ineffective if not backed up by a show of power. It's all they know, and other countries are learning the technique from America. The whole "Strength is Power" madness.

I suppose you think brinksmanship is a great idea, too.

Because normal countries adhere to international law.

Where do you pick up these nonsense statements. This foolishness called 'international law' favours the rogue states, the Islamic extremists and the despotic rulers. Decent countries do not bother with international law as the laws of their own country are sufficient. International law is meant to control the states run by criminals, who ignore it anyway, so it is pointless. Google says:

********************************
No country fully adheres to all international law, but major powers like the US, China, and Russia often disregard specific courts (like the ICC) or treaties due to sovereignty concerns, while nations like North Korea, Iran, Syria, and Cuba frequently violate core human rights laws, leading them to be targeted by sanctions or international scrutiny, though enforcement is complex as international law relies on state consent and power dynamics.
Key Examples & Situations:
- Major Powers & ICC: The US, China, and Russia are not members of the International Criminal Court (ICC), limiting its reach over their nationals and actions, while Russia also ignores ICC arrest warrants, per CFR Education and Wikipedia.
- Human Rights Violations: Countries like North Korea, Iran, Syria, Myanmar, and Eritrea are frequently cited for severe human rights abuses, often defying international norms, notes U.S. Department of State and CNRS News.
- Conflict Zones: Nations like Ukraine and Sudan face ongoing ICC investigations for potential war crimes, showing violations in active conflict, according to CNRS News.
- Non-Compliance: Many nations, including India, Israel, and Saudi Arabia, also avoid full commitment to international legal bodies or treaties, prioritizing national interests over universal legal obligations.
Why Countries Don't Follow:
- Sovereignty: States often prioritize national sovereignty over international jurisdiction.
- Lack of Enforcement: International law lacks a strong, centralized enforcement body, relying on diplomatic pressure, sanctions, or military action, notes Wikipedia.
- Political Will: Major powers often resist international scrutiny, while weaker states may lack capacity or face extreme pressure, states CFR Education and Wikipedia.

Haven't heard 'Strength is Power' before. Seems a bit discombobulated, 'Power is Strength' would make more sense, but the phrase is superfluous either way. To whom do you attribute this statement? Take a break, suzianne.
Ronald Reagan (and others i am sure) said " Peace through Strength". Maybe you have confused the comment?

Put AvJoe down as a Peach through Strength patriot kind of guy.

Venezuela has agreements with various large multinational oil companies not "us" i.e. the United States. The companies claim Venezuela breached these contracts and some sued in international tribunals meant to adjudicate such matters.

There are several legal ways to enforce any judgments won in such tribunals, but none authorize military action or violence of any sort. And the US isn't even a party to such disputes so nothing could have possibly been "stole" from it.

Trump's bombed seven different countries in less than a year.

When do we get the "peace" part?

You avoid my very first sentence. Give it a shot. Yeah we all get International Law, which, by the way has no global police force. Do a thread if you want to discuss it.
But My QUESTION< which none of you twinkies will answer.,
WHY o WHY was Obama not arrested by the Not-Global police Force. WHY do y'all chide Trump, but not a word about Obama. Sue whines that '2 wrongs dont maaaakkkke a riiiggght.' Geez.
No answer there. how about you answer it . You won't.

Hurrah !!! Totally KICK-A$$ AWESOME !!!! I'm all for it !! Trump just legitimated some other country kidnapping himself and First Lady Melanomia--I can hardly wait to see him in orange overalls and handcuffs, convicted of indiscriminate extra-judicial killings in multiple foreign countries, and imprisoned on some devil's island compound off the coast of Africa. 😀
Melenomia, Good one!
