Breaking international law, which is useless and which has allowed the abuse to continue is a good bloody idea. It is useless. International law is a scam. It is designed by rich western nations to justify their inaction in the face of violence in the third world. Nobody helps the poor and abused people of these countries. The ones who are capable are citing international law as if that is their God, when all it is, is a crutch and and excuse for inaction.

There is no interest in Venezuelan oil, there are no big barrels of millions of tons of gooey black crude which our refineries need to run.
The fracking industry has driven our oil output to NUMBER ONE IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW but the lightest of the light crude not useable for our refineries so there will be no push to get oil from Venezuela because the price would be north of 50 BILLION And YEARS of building the infrastructure to get that oil like NO POWER GRIDS near the fields.
NOBODY in their right mind will invest the kind of money it would take to get oil out of the ground there.
