We should run an over/under pool here with the number of counts that Trump ias actually convicted of.

I'd suggest 4. and I'll take the under.
Here's a wild guess as far as this indictment (it looks like there will be more):

He eventually pleads guilty to one felony but gets no jail time.

Jail time? You venture even a thought in your wildest dreams that Trump would even be considered for being jailed?
Whew. You and Sonhouse have got to trading PMs.
Jail time? Put him in cuffs and lead him away? Jesus.
I spect nothing, myself, as they cannot legally get him, too many loopholes and grey areas. Make a misdemeanor a felony? Mixing state and federal? Do you think Bragg will go to jail? Felony to leak grand jury stuff, you know. Marauder, why with your legal prowess don’t you link us to that crime? Brag’s crime?
You think us fools?!?!?😉

Here's the statute:

"A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.

Falsifying business records in the first degree is a class E felony."

Now if there was a strict constructionist judge interpreting that statute, would he say a Federal crime doesn't count as "another crime"? Not to say that there aren't other predicate crimes available under the facts, but to me the clear wording of the statute suggests the answer would be "no".

I have realized now what (not 'who' ) the jury will be if there is a trial. We know how it will vote, and its members will also be voting Bragg For President someday. I have realized that there are hyenas in NYC, who can keep this moving so he may not be able to avoid their wrath.
But on appeal? It will be overturned.
