The honeymoon is upon us. Trump voters are feeling that "space cadet glow" Their guy was successfully elected, the GOP controls Congress, those dirty old Liberals have been banished to the sidelines, and all is right with the world!

However -

Right now, Republican allies of House Speaker Mike Johnson are begging President-elect Donald Trump to publicly reaffirm support for him to avoid a lengthy battle to replace him that will derail the certification of Trump's election victory in January. So far, Trump has refused to do so.

The number of women in Texas and other Conservative led states who died while pregnant, during labor or soon after childbirth skyrocketed and continues to grow following the state’s ban on abortion care — far outpacing a slower rise in maternal mortality across the nation.

Trump is discovering he lacks the resources for all but a tiny portion of his deportation plan as Conservatives in his own party are concerned about the trillions in debt that the US has accumulated, means it is now spending more on interest payments on the national debt than its defense budget. Now republicans are refusing to allocate additional funds for deportation.

Trump's tariffs would erode the purchasing power of the average American household by $1,200, due to increased prices says wall street economists. Though importers are most likely to pass the tariffs on to consumers in the form of higher prices, “we’re going to see domestic competitors saying, well they’re doing it, we can do it too,” said Jennifer Lee, senior economist and managing director at BMO Capital Markets.

When the honeymoon ends, and inflation takes a bigger bite out of voters' paychecks, when crops sit rotting in the fields due to lack of immigrant labor to harvest them, as the more and more women die needless deaths from lack of necessary healthcare due to GOP supported abortion bans, when much needed housing developments are delayed due to lack of workers - driving up home prices, and interest on the national debt spins out of control voters are going to take a long, hard look at who's running the country. Who do you think they'll turn to then?

Enjoy your honeymoon while it lasts MAGA's - because it never does! 😏

No I don't, and as a paying subscriber I'll post here whenever I see fit.

You have a problem with that?

Clearly you do not understand the difference between your right to post nonsense and your desire to do so. Two differnt things. Take a break. Its Chrsitmas. Spend some time with your family. Have a drink. Enjoy life and stop allowing Trump to screw up your life.

The number of women who have died because they couldn't get an abortion continues to grow?
Got any numbers for that claim?
I'm guessing right now the number must be zero.

Question..,,I am a bit out of the loop on women who get pregnant with a baby and then change their minds, and resort to asking the fed govt to something about it. It is a state matter.
Some people move to a state that has no income tax. Why don’t these women move to a state that aborts babies?

A lib cannot answer this question. Further, libs get personally upset w Avzjoe all the time for asking questions. It is just a question, why get hit about it?

You're a horrible guesser.

Why do you have absolutely zero knowledge of things that really do not affect you? And yet you continue to support idiot laws about them.

Women's issues, gay issues and trans issues. You have zero knowledge of any of it, yet you and people like you still support laws in red states that treat these people as second-class citizens. You think calling it all 'woke' absolves you of all responsibility of treating these people like humans.

Disgusting.

You guys live in a bubble of ignorance of your own creation.

You don't even get it when we say you don't get it.

Maternal mortality rates have always varied from state to state. They have NOT "skyrocketed" and I doubt if they've changed at all. Claiming there's a correlation with abortion policies as the causative factor is retarded. Not one case is mentioned of a woman dying because she was forced to carry a child to term.

The exercise of these issues, of which you are quite correct, the Tran lgbtcgq type things can certainly be exercised by the people, but don’t drag us into it. Why should a tran wake up today and get in our face. Let them live their lives. I have dear gay friends but they do not create havoc , nor draw attention to themselves?
Quit it already, it is like we have something that they want. What is it? Tell us,
