The jig is up. People know that you don't make money by working. Wealth is only "earned" or rather accumulated through existing wealth and property and investments. If you don't have that, and you're living paycheck to paycheck, working less makes a lot of sense. Combine that with the fact that the tech bro billionaires are out there saying that money won't matter anymore in less than 10 years.

This one is saying that if you have no savings, no accumulated assets, etc, ....that, you spend everything you make (geez), that it only makes sense to .....well, work just enough to live on. (At least get some health insurance please?)
That's it.

Wow. No incentive to get ahead in life,,,,,,,,,he left that out, but that too is what he is saying.

Let's talk frisbee at the park.....

That's why the hardest workers are the immigrants. For many of them, food on the table is getting ahead. But there's very few getting ahead of that standard without an inheritance or a lottery ticket. So why not work less? Enjoy life more?

Hahaha I saw where a liberal said..,,
“ I like just 32 hours, I will have time to work on my humanity “!!

So I didn’t say it…..a hitleresque person said it. I was being facetious, poking fun at losers who don’t wanna work.
You got snookered and I didn’t even try to.

If I went to their country, not speaking the language or knowing anything, . And shuffling around the street, I would be hungry too, and I would probably go back home. That is what they ought to do. This country was not made for them, they can’t get a feel for how to get rich , they are of another culture. When are you kids gonna get it?
For the record, for the normal self-reliant person, working less does not equate to enjoyinglife more.
Keep it up, very entertaining. And y’all always poking me for using the word loser in the forum.
Check out Obama saying get illegal immigrants the hell out of here.

Our economy has a very sticky floor. The hourly wage workers have been waiting on the trickle down since the 1980s. When's it coming?

You referred to immigrants, my only response there is to reiterate that these are the folks who are currently working the hardest in our economy. You can see it at any construction site or meat packing plant or industrial farm or delivery truck. They'll work however many hours the boss will let them.

But the homegrown kiddos? The 32 hour work week makes sense for the domestics among us. If they have money from grandpa, it'll go in the stock market and they'll live off passive income their whole lives, playing video games. If the don't have money from grandpa, they'll work the minimum effort needed to keep their phones and netflix subscriptions alive until they hit retirement age. This is the economy that Reagan built.

Your factual paragraph #1 is quite correct. Whew. Why’d you write that? Is it an issue? Everyone knows immigrants, the legal ones, help us get rich, the USA gets to be richest country in the world. We get that. Why write that?

next is your comment about the homegrown people. You actually say that 32 hour work week works for them. You say they’ll work for the minimum effort needed to keep their phones and Netflix subscriptions alive. You say, which we do not understand, that this is the economy that Reagan built. Hey little fella, this is the economy that is now, with jobs galore, and if people want to work and get Rich, the opportunity is there.
Reagan?

Don’t tell me that you are a loser, you have written some good posts in your time. So you are encouraging other people, and people that start with no money, to work minimum hours and not try to make something of themselves. You will have a hard time responding to this post, I can tell you that .

Work on your humanity first. You never complain about socialism for the rich. Apparently the poor have not earned welfare.

Notice that the arguments for corporate welfare are not even honest. Like this quote from the link below. "The 2008 bank bailout might have been unpopular, but it may have averted global financial meltdown." It did nothing of the sort. Those that remember know that the banks still refused to lend money like they were supposed to. The reality is that it was a total failure. So they resorted to plan B when B could have been plan A all along making the bailout unnecessary. It was never necessary. It was a big scam.

You love to talk about the huge big picture . You can’t help there, so. How about getting down to brass tacks…, get on the street with these people and support their endeavors. Teach them how to fish. . Tell them to go to work, make money, save money and then go to get another job and make more money. That is what someone like you needs to do instead of bitching about how much money other people have.

I don't care how much money other people have if they earned it fairly. But if they get the money from corporate welfare........

And why do you only bitch about welfare when poor people get it?
You seem to be a proponent of class warfare. Because that is what corporate welfare is. That is what inflation is.

Keep it simple,,,,you libs like chaos and confusion.' I woudl LOVE for you to tel e what is wrong with this premise. The strongest country in the world, outpacing all countries, has about 50M people that need help.
The USA covers them, pays for med, housing food.
Everyone else, take care of themselves, and be self reliant.
