Now here you are calling Kewpie "dude" and "he".

What is wrong with you that you can't show basic human respect to people?
It was dragged up as apposed to raised

Let it be noted we were discussing a topic civilly until shag doody for brains and screwy suzi turned up.
Civil?

Spreading gender disinformation is civil?

Calling a woman a man is practically one of the worst things you can call her. Did you bully kids in school? Did you cry real hard when a girl finally got tired of your crap and knocked you down?

I guess it's useless to ask for basic respect from someone who clearly doesn't even respect himself.

Yes, maybe you're right. This brings logic to the decision. Not stopping the public from self-destruction, and recognising dependence/addiction. I hadn't thought of that.
I think it makes sense to put an addictive harmful substance like nicotine in the same basket as other addictive harmful substances but I think withdrawing access to current addicts would lead to the same spread of lawlessness that the US witnessed during prohibition
The ban will not be airtight but hopefully if will drastically reduce the industries ability to produce a new sizeable group of addicts with each generation
As a COPD sufferer who smoked for 47yrs and a grandparent I do welcome this move by the Tories and it’s not often I say that.

Millions of people smoked and lived long productive lives, kev bamboozle projects his own weakness onto others as an excuse for goobermint enforcers to stomp on their rights. He sees other people as he sees himself, weak and cowering, these 'others' need to be controlled, pushed, shoved, prodded by...???...???...???

Yep you got it, other people, haha. The paradox of the control freak.

The effect that red meat has a probable carcinogen confounds the association processed meat has as carcinogenic. So, the answer is eating turkey awhile, without preservatives or additives. Did they find acrylamide isn't healthy or isn't harmful or it all depends?

kb: "Worrying about them corporate profits again house boy."

I am not concerned, worried, interested in, giving a shag doody, about the profits of tobacco Corporations, in fact there are many fine tobacco products cultivated and processed but small family businesses. I don't wallow in the philosophy of envy as you do. I wish them well, and that they profit in their endeavors.

Profit being the difference between what something costs to produce and what someone is prepared to pay for it, no bogeymans or evil agendas as kaka would have us believe.

kb "Some heroin addicts lead long productive lives too but a whole lot of them die before their time, just like smokers.'

Well bully for some heroin users, you might be trying to make a point but you've been unable to articulate it.

Any early death is unfortunate, I do not wish it on anyone, as you have a number of times before, the most recent being expressing a hope (yes kb, you used that word) for people to be burned alive. People must take responsibility for their own decisions as do fat lazy unhealthy NHS parasitical couch potatoes who are out of breath going to the fridge for yet another snack. Try to lift your feet at each step like a normal person so you don't take a fall on the way there.
