Personally, I like that the Republicans are not a lock-step party, I'd like to see McCarthy step down and allow the party to go forward, but I think his personal ambitions outweigh his love of party and nation.
This isn’t going to be solved by Mcarthy stepping down because the vast majority of the Republican house want a centrist speaker who will not be acceptable to the anarchist clique that are calling themselves the ‘freedom caucus’ by which they mean the freedom of the minority to rule over and oppress the majority.
Not even Trump can bring them to heel.

Kevin is not right wing enough for the freedom caucus that are blocking him and they will likely block any centrist candidate. So instead of vague requests for forward motion why don’t you reveal your actual solution to the impasse.
