Debates

The IPO for SpaceX ($1.7 trillion) received a valuation 10 times more than any previous IPO ever.

I get that Elon Musk works hard but...

it would take the typical U.S. household, earning almost $84,000 a year, nearly 12 million years to accumulate that much wealth. Or, if you were fortunate enough to have and spend a million dollars a day, it would take 2,740 years to spend the entirety of a trillion-dollar budget.

And...
To help visualize such enormity, Paulos recommended a time scale: 1 million seconds in the past is less than two weeks ago, but a billion seconds puts us in 1994, and a trillion seconds goes back to 29,000 B.C., predating recorded history.

Most of us don’t have millionaire parents like Musk does.

I like this one, Thousand. Present a premise or discussion where one cannot be allowed to have rich parents, and god-forbid parents who give them money!!!! Libs seem to hate the players, they should hate the game!!! Not FAAAAAIR!
Why does the left not tolerate our successful culture? Other countries are in amazement. Why did the horrible TV woman fat sitcom person Roseann come BACK from Ireland after denouncing Trump and leaving in the first place???

Well you need a start with a racist father who runs an emerald mine. Apparently.

But obviously I'm just jealous. Okay full disclosure. Ive been a Musk fan boy until he spent hundreds of millions to help Trump become 47.

He really helped get the ball rolling on EV'S and large scale renewable energy storage. SpaceX and the whole recovery/reusable aspects of space exploration etc etc....

And he has many detractors who say its not him its the people around him, blah blah blah....All I know I doubt without him we would have booster rocket stages that could land on their launch pads. So yeah he has something going on and maybe because true success for him is colonising Mars, the rest is just how he gets there.

But when you DOGE a nation smilingly without any concern for the peoples lives you are about to disrupt and destroy because you want Trump's blessing to further your own quest, then a line needs to be drawn, and Elon unplug yourself from your neural linked machine for a minute and consider humanity and its health as a much more admirable goal for a dash darn minute. We know you have the seeds of dictator in you, all we ask is that you approach benevolence.

he worked very hard for those trillions. quite a lot if times harder and smarter than a developer he fired from X.

I mean just by firing the developers who wrote the least amount of code lines proves what a big brain boy he is
