I answer it shytweasel, I knew you would shyweasel when I did.
It is stupid to think there are no laws preventing an open border such as biden is allowing.
I just picked ONE at random.
. Even though most people who attempt to enter the United States via the southern border are immediately expelled under Title 42, the Biden administration
continues to rely on immigration prosecutions as a punitive tool to “deter irregular migration.” [b]Federal prosecutors charged 23,962 people with unauthorized re-entry under Section 1326 in district courts from January 2021 through September 2022.
The latest Justice Department data released in October 2022 show the Biden administration is not slowing down. Prosecutors charged 3,436 people in magistrate courts for unlawful entry under Section 1325 and 13,670 in district courts for unlawful reentry under Section 1326 in fiscal year
FY) 2022. All told, prosecutions for immigration-related offenses made up 34 percent of all federal prosecutions in district court in FY 2021. This made immigration-related crimes the most charged category of federal crimes.

That doesn't sound like "not enforcing" that particular law.
@no1marauder saidignorance is speaking in low thousands when MILLIONS are coming in.

@mott-the-hoople saidYou expect the Federal government to prosecute and then detain millions?
ignorance is speaking in low thousands when MILLIONS are coming in.
Last Fiscal Year, there were 71,954 criminal defendants in Federal courts. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/06/14/fewer-than-1-of-defendants-in-federal-criminal-cases-were-acquitted-in-2022/
There are 156,854 Federal inmates. https://www.bop.gov/about/statistics/population_statistics.jsp
There were 1,659,206 encounters at the border. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2021/11/09/whats-happening-at-the-u-s-mexico-border-in-7-charts/
Criminal prosecutions of any significant percentage of these encounters is a logistical impossibility.
@no1marauder saidWhy do I feel like Marauder, though ‘in the room’, is not discussing normally. No discussion, only pontificating and referring us to thoughts of other people and teams of official dates and times and statutes, dizzying at best?

Further, I wonder how he can blanket us with so much info, as if we are in school. I need to get a bot to respond to his bot. What is he saying? Stop the invasion? Hardly. So what is he saying, and is he actually defending this demented man’s words that his handlers prepare for him. Biden is asleep now. Shhhhhhhh. Trump is not.
@averagejoe1 saidI'm saying maybe you should deal with the facts and reality rather than blindly accepting what Breitbart and the rest are feeding you.

Try reading the title of the Forum - it's "Debates", something you have consistently shown you have no idea how to do.
@mott-the-hoople saidOK I think I misunderstood the law. I apologize.

Damn the ignorance 🙄
My link was legitimate but I did not understand what it was saying.
The law says prison is optional though. Immigrants do not have to be imprisoned for that law to be followed.
@no1marauder saidyou are a stupid fool if you think there is nothing we can do to preserve our existence …this is the reason I hesitated to give you a law that was not being upheld.
