Yes or no questions. Seemingly simple enough. Are you male? Yes. Do you like green hats? Yes. Does Seitse give it to you every Tuesday afternoon? No.

Sometimes however, neither yes nor no is a correct answer. This may be true if the question implies or assumes something that is not true. For example - Do you still beat your wife?

However, even when that is not the case, many people seemingly cannot answer the question. I pride myself on either answering the question or explaining why the question is flawed when I come to these sorts of questions, and think it is a character flaw to not be able or willing to do it. It's exactly the sort of non-language politicians are famous for. It's evasive; it's intended to avoid the search for truth in order to gain tactical advantage in a perceived verbal battle.

Now, as this thread is BEGGING to be trolled, I don't expect you to discuss the above issue honestly and seriously. So the debate here is...

Who can come up with the best questions, and who can do the best job of not answering them properly?

If you feel like it, answer some of them properly. I don't care. I've had my rant. I am satisfied.

If an aim or ideal has never been fully achieved does it mean that this aim or ideal does not exist?

After a few edits...

NO. If an aim or ideal is not "fully achieved" the aim or ideal may still exist.

I remember vaguely a conversation we had about this that you are probably trying to zing me about. Which was it? I forget.

Doesn't matter. At least you've shown you can answer it properly this time round. Your thread is off to a good start.

I have quite a bit of commentary and had to struggle to keep it to a direct answer. It can be tough.

We could dig up your 'commentary' from before, but it's all in the service of an angry agrressive YES. It'd make a mess of this ship shape and bristol fashion thread.

I'd like you to provide evidence. You're making a personal attack based on your interpretation of my answers to a different question. Let's see what I actually said since you've decided to implicitly call me a hypocrite.

Don't be such a sensitive little sausage. I haven't called you a hypocrite. If anything I would call you inconsistent and clueless, but I have chosen not to. Dig it up if you want. You said NO on this thread. This is to your credit. The fact that you are simultaneously making a fool of yourself with a YES answer on this 'unfulfilled objectives don't exist' thing, yet again, on another thread is more a matter for you than it is for me.

Thought so. It's just like the time you said things that all argued that Saddam Hussein was the greatest hero of the 20th century. Can't back up what you say.

he does have a point FMF.
I would like you to back up the following statements you have made:
1. I am a male
2. I am a female
3. I am south east asian
4. I am a Brit
5. conservative Americans are unpatriotic
6. Americans who disagree w/their current presidents policies are unpatriotic

if you can muster up the courage to address these claims on your part I have more.
