@AverageJoe1
What about the part that we are not supposed to be the police force of humanity?
You figure we should intervene in any banana republic coup attempt?
@mott-the-hoople saidRemember when you thought Hickock and Earp were "fictional TV characters"? Remember when you used "sew" in a sentence, like "she should SEW them in court"?
we are literally witnessing one country slaughter the people of another country and you think we spend too much on our military…you trying to be the stupidest person ever?
STFU.

@averagejoe1 saidDid you know Scotland is part of the U.K.?
Scotland is an example of a country in-need-of-help when pounced upon by a huge force. Who they gonna call, Vivify? Finland?
And did you know the UK has nukes?
Did you know the UK is part of NATO?
No, you didn't?
Well to answer your question of "who they gonna call", the answer is "All of Fukking NATO".

@averagejoe1 saidOh, you mean like how the US is helping Ukraine?
You might try to make an argument that an invaded country may call upon another country besides the USA? Who, pray tell?
Like how even though Zelensky is begging for ammunition and the US gave nothing? How he's begging the big bad US for a no-fly zone because Russia's reigning bombs from the sky, but the US won't even send a goddamn helmet, lest they piss of Russia?
Please.

I figure in today's world, we need to use more wasted money to build up our military.....After all, we have to be prepared on all fronts, maybe Taiwan is next. And what if we are pretty much spread a bit thin, and Iran makes a move on the USA. Would we have enough armaments? Probably not.
Pacifists. Dream world city.
Maybe you can "figure" out an answer to my question: How much bigger does American military need to get? 10%? 20%? 50%? 100%. You won't get anywhere going to Congress and telling our lawmakers: "Let's get all of our wasted money together and spend it on our military, cuz I figure we need to prepared on all fronts" They want exact numbers in order to prepare a military budget, not vague ideas.
@vivify saidYou are correct. Your president, a puppet, is controlled by the Greenies, and by Obama, and a touch of Soros. THEY will not help Ukraine. It is not Biden. I wish we could all agree to use the phrase "the administration' in place of Biden....a common reader.

So you are correct, the administration is not helping Ukraine worth a damn. Take this post and run with it.
@mchill saidWell, if you will get off of saying it should be a smaller military, then I will not feel the need to say 'larger if anything'. Not smaller.

Not smaller.
I never said anything of the kind. And I'm still waiting for an answer to my question: How much bigger does America's military need to get?
@vivify saidOK, did not mull through that particular, so I guess you can delete Scotland and insert Iceland or New Guinea in that sentence .. Pretend to not get my point....

What country is the first country that an invaded country will call when there is no hope? Why dont you just say USA and end this misery!!! 🙂
@averagejoe1 saidYou know New Guinea is not in Europe, right? Oh, you didn't?
OK, did not mull through that particular, so I guess you can delete Scotland and insert Iceland or New Guinea in that sentence

As you already acknowledged with Ukraine, damn sure not the US.

how much do you value your life? thats how big.
@mott-the-hoople saidI don't care about your politics, I just care about reminding you that you're retarded.
Touch a nerve? LOL
your position is pretty stupid isnt it?
Go SEW yourself.
@mchill saidNot necessarily bigger, if that is what I said......I am contesting the comments over the years on this Forum that we should reduce the size of our military. I am doing it in response to the affairs of the day, and thank God for the Reagans and Trumps of the world who have made it that way.
Well, if you will get off of saying it should be a smaller military-

Let us not forget our friend in Romania, a country that could be in the sights of the hungry Putin. Would they get help, even as a NATO member? And thank Trump for making NATO more effective than it was 5 years ago.
But I am still here to say that the USA is the buffer of it all.
@vivify saidUkraine did call on us, as recently as today. Dont get you there.
You know New Guinea is not in Europe, right? Oh, you didn't?

OK, lets see,,,,,,,think of another country, insert in the place of my Scotland reference. Lib, as usual, being difficult. Give it up.
