So they were not the only ones erased, 200,000 recordings were erased to release the tapes, the whole thing was meant for live TV. They found some footage from TV stations and were re-digitized, not by NASA so don't go into another paranoid fit.
The guy in charge of trying to find the recordings said they should have had an historian on board to say, wait a damn minute, these are historical records but they wanted to save money on tapes, 200,000 tapes would have been a couple million bucks at least, not that I am trying to forgive them, they were idiots but it was not part of your paranoid fantasy. It was a money decision. Of course with your pathetic hard on against NASA and by extension every other space faring nation, they are all part of your fantasy conspiracy theory, that would also have to include the dudes who have already done 3 circumnavs of Antarctica in the last 10 years and another one coming up soon. But you would never in a million years actually go on such a trip would you, destroy your illusions and I know for a fact they are booking passengers so put your money where your mouth is and go on that trip, then come back and tell us all about the big wall that you would fall off.
