If it's a movie, Apple Quick Time should be able to play it.

Beyond that there are numerous free 3pg converters on the web, just google for one.

Nokia don't support 3pg now. All their customers want MPEG4. I would download the same track again, in MPEG4 if it is important to you. And get a phone that doesn't support 3pg, like a Nokia.

Apparently, my Nokia N95 supports both 3gp and 3g2 formats. I haven't tried it but that's what it says on the tin.

Indeed they are. Plus you can even plug it into your TV and play the videos on the big screen.

My only complaint about the N95 is the battery life. You leave one application on by accident or spend a few hours talking and bang goes the battery. I'm forever having to charge the stupid thing up.

There was a thread recently about this. But I really have never had a problem. Yeah, by force of habit I plug it in every night next to bed. But times I've been away, and forgotten my charger, it has always lasted at least 3-4 days with full usage.
