France. The French are performing well at club level and unlike the other sides look reasonably strong both up front and in the backs. Further, Wales and England are suffering from injuries, in Wales's case ones they probably can't overcome.
1) France
2) England
3) Wales
4) Scotland
5) Ireland
6) Italy
Of course, I'm not happy abouy Moody's ban conveniently letting him back for this game, whereas Hensons just keeps him out...

England were rampant against Wales today.
Ireland shaky against Italy.

No Grand Slam for France. Scotland 20 - France 16. What a win for the rank underdogs!
They didn't, obviously, and neither did England (efficient, dominant up front but still clearly lacking in the back department).
i was at the ireland italy match. it took an english ref to hand the match to the irish. shameful as although the italians were valiant, the irish should really be capable of beating them easily. i wonder what will happen next week in paris? i don't think anyone will get a grand slam now. the english have the best chance, but what a match at murrayfield that could now turn out to be. well done scotland, a truly sensational result.

i think that scotland will win it. even tho i support England i dont think that they will win the grand slam i think that they will come 2nd after scotland

Italy are a bit better than you give them credit for, that's all. Poor start for Ireland, but I still think they might turn it around.
Italy were unlucky- they deserved the win. But let's just recall that since they ahve been in these few years they have avoided the wooden spoon on three occasions, beating Scotland twice and Wales once. Not the wooden spoon dead certs that some people think. Actually, I'd fancy them to beat Scotland in Rome this year in the last match, and to have a fair crack at the Welsh too.
But well done to Scotland- a great win. opens the championship right up. People complained that Scotland and Italy weren't up to the standard- they'll think again hopefully after this weekend's results.
