Anyone can come into the general forum, there's no point in asking people to only post in a piticualr fashion because they are different, what with being human! The only way to do that is to make a forum that is exclusive.

so you enjoy the fact that every thread rusty touches at the moment leads to an argument? where's the 'variety' in that? like cft pointed out i never suggested that anyone should leave the forum just change the way they post... why should one man have the right to potentially spoil it for so many others? do you think that it's a coincidence that it's a relativity friendly more active forum when rusty and gb aren't posting?
GBs threads are always popular.
There is often an argument but I'm pretty sure it's always been like that hasn't it?

I will comment on trev's comments tomorrow, and perhaps a few others. I think it is always good to discuss these matters. What some call fights, I call a discussion. They sometimes prefer to call the discussions fights, to make me appear to be in the wrong from the start.

By the way there's a reason I hardly ever post in a GB thread. I rarely have a clue waht the subject is and my posts and questions in past threads have not been answered to my satisfaction.

It's my opnion that GBs threads aren't always about the presenting subject as I see it. That's proberly becasue he talk funny!

Who are you to tell the user they can not post about GB in this thread? The user is smart enough to know that GB is in part the reason for this thread. You and your friend group are crying because upon my return I have told a few of the nit-pickers I didn't think what they were doing was acceptable.
There is a very simple solution and you and I have been down this road before. You don't have to go into GRAMPY BOBBY THREADS IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEM. It really is that simple, my interwebz friend!
You have started this Thread which was very controversial to begin with accusing me of being the main problem for what you called 'fights' in the forums. I have often spoke out against the Mods, so I feel it only right in this case I should give them a pat on the back. I was contacted and asked if I wanted your Thread Removed. I replied: No it is a very good way to clear the air.
We have a multi-culture group here as you know with people from all around the world. Who are you me or anyone else to decide what people post. The Mods are here to see it is kept within the TOS, and so long as that is being done, who are we to dictate who can post in the forums and what can be said?
It really doesn't matter to me if I post in the GF or not, as I have already shown in my absense from the GF. The GF has been getting less and less activity I have personally found over the past year or so. I predicted a little over a year ago, that eventually all that will be left of the GF is the little 'friends group' because everyone was getting driven out, if they didn't agree with or saw things differently than the 'friends group' did. It is beginning to appear that my prediction was right on the money doesn't it.
So don't dare say to me: Rusty don't ruin our forum! I think it wonderful that 20-25 people can all get along in a forum. Please give others a chance to post also without jumping all over them, there really is no need for it. A certain amount of drama is good keeps the forum lively, but it has gotten to the the point where it has passed that in my opinion.
Sure you are going to say the Private Forums caused some of the drop in the activity that was once in the GF, but there are reasons for that too. Why do you think people wanted Private Forums? All I say is there is room for everyone, and if you don't like what some one is posting in their thread, and you are just going in to nit-pick, who is wrong you or the poster? In your heart of hearts deep down, you know it is not right.
I think now is the TIME that the PFC/TSM wars are over, to turn the page and start fresh. EVERYONE can get along if a little effort is put into it.
