I had a terrible dream last night.
I was playing chess with someone from RHP, but it was sort of OTB. Well we were in a pretty even position though I thought I was a bit ahead. I was playing black which meant he was playing white.
So we each had pawns on the A and B files. So these pawns really weren't going anywhere and I was about to turn my attention to making progress on the kingside, when much to my dismay, he puts a pawn in the space beside the A file just diagonal to my a5 pawn and proceeds to capture it! Can you believe that?
I try to reason with this disagreeable fellow pointing out that this sort of thing is not ok, but he just goes into denial! It wasn't till the next day and some pressure from another highly rated RHP member, that we finally get this guy to admit that he had done something wrong. He still tried to weasel out of it repeatedly asking for a draw, but I refused. I was really planning on making him pay for it, but I woke up unfortunately.
I can't remember exactly who this person was, but he was rated in the 1700s and his name started with an 'I' and had an 'f' in it somewhere I think. I have already checked the names of all the players between 1700-1799 and he doesn't show up there (which really doesn't prove anything you know).
That's all I can remember other than he looked like a pretty suspicious character. I am sorry I can't be of much greater help, but if I ever catch up to him, you can rest assured I will report his very poor chess etiquette.

I am very sorry about this incident! I will surely be on the look out for this indecent individual!
And if I may pawntify what i feel about this, I truly believe that out of all people that this can happen to, I am glad it was you as I know you would have handled the situation with grace and chesstized this disgraceful person with sufficient rightousness!

The "I" is probably "you" and I am guessing the "f" is about "freedom" on some level as that is part of your name on the site. You also mention a "suspicious character" who has poor "chess etiquette." As someone has already pointed out it is about Cribs. Congratulations! He is kicked off the site, but granted access to your unconscious. I say this in all seriousness that it is a marvelous dream in its vividness and potential for meaning. When I said "congratulations" I was not mocking you. You two, at least according to your dream, are one anothers shadow. Behold, your nemesis and your opportunity. 😉
