It was all about the NanJing massacre of 1937, showing the attrocities of the Japanese. There is some pretty macarbe, evil stuff in there, andf they add documentary footage in to validate the stuff you see.....i was speechless.
I recommend it if you want to understand the hatred of the Japanese from a Chinese prespective.

But yes, there are so many horrors that have been done. The whole Comfort Women thing makes me want to hurt someone, but that wouldn't have been limited to one area.

Along with dramatic portrayals, there is actual footage taken by both foreign/chinese , and japanese. Believe me, this film does depict vile acts, but it is not extreme in it's depiction of the attrocities of nanking, in fact it only showed a small part of what actually happened, and spared it's viewers from the real barbarity of actual events. What was shown is shocking, but nothing compared to what really happened.....and it was all true.
