is there any thing more you would like to know about me? I'm willing to answer any of your questions.
Anyway, I know your Christian, so what kind of church (i.e. catholic, etc.) do you attend?

Originally posted by zach918I'm glad to hear you go to a Christian school. I think it is a wonderful thing in this day and age, more than ever. Have you ever attended a public school? I never had the opportunity to go to a Christian school but got to help with the one my church supports (I'm a Lutheran by the way, specifically of the Missouri Synod). I was awed by how different it was.

I grew up in a small town that was VERY predominantly Mormon (if I recall right, the Mormon to Christain ration was approx. 200 to 1). After having so much religious pressure put on me in my youth, it was really great to see a school that welcomes your beliefs. 🙂
Originally posted by OmnislashNo, I have never had the privilege of going to a public school. I would really like to, just to know how blessed I am to be in a Christian school. Although, there is a slight ( 0.00000000000001% ) chance that I will be going to a public school next year, but I doubt it.

Originally posted by zach918I don't think you would enjoy the experience. The only reason I got to be good at fighting is that I had a lot of "opportunity" to practice. Of course my case is on the extreme. Just because you are Christian you wouldn't be persecuted at most schools, but I tell you true my friend that you would be a little....shocked at how people can be when they don't have integrity (i.e. Christian principles). If you want to see cruelty and pain, look no farther than the youth in a school without God. Just my opinion, but an opinion based upon experience.

Don't get me wrong, I also think I was blessed to be where I was. I may not know why, but for some reason God needed me to become strong against that kind of stuff. I am a better person for my ordeals, but I would be lying if I said that it was a pleasurable experience. As I got older I was more "accepted", greatly due to my sports bravado. I may have been liked to a point, perhaps even popular in my high school years, but I never "fit in". Picture the star of the wrestling team, one of the schools best academic students, not being able to get a date because he is a "heathen". That was the story I heard all too often. "Your a great guy Sean, but we want our daughter to date guys that share our belief."
Anyway, enough boo-hooing about my youth. The point is that in your general public school you usuall have to sacrifice the mass majority of your integrity if you want to "fit in". I REALLY hope you get to stay in your Christian school. If it ever comes down to money, you just let me know and I'll do my darndest to find you some sponsors.
Originally posted by OmnislashEven though I go to a Christian school, there are still those that "just don't fit in." I am one of those, mainly because I am of the type that aren't athletic and am a Boy Scout. Money is not a problem, because my mom works for the church and gets a handsome cut on the tution..if it weren't for that cut, I could never go to the school I'm at, but I'm very glad that I'm there.

Originally posted by True GeniusThat's great! Keep it up. I kind of did the Scouts. As you might imagine, I wouldn't fit in with a den in my home town. I was fortunate that my grandmother used to be a den mother, so I got to learn from her. I think scouts are great. 🙂
