Why can't you Americans just call them 'chips'? (In Britain, thinly sliced fried potatoes are called 'crisps'😉

'Hamburgers' sounds a bit German (it's named after a German city!) How about Liberty Buns? 😉
lol - yeah, and what the hell are grits!? 😀

you don't know what grits are?! oh, i just noticed, you live in the UK..i'll cut you a little slack 😛 see, i live in the south, and around here everybody knows what grits are 🙂 they are a type of food that is really bad unless you put honey on them (and then they are still bad 😛)

hominy grits = grits = corn grits Notes: This Southern staple is made from hominy or plain corn that's been ground until it has the consistency of coarse sand. It's used as a side dish, a breakfast cereal, or as an ingredient in baked goods. Varieties include quick-cooking grits and instant grits. Substitutes: polenta meal

Don't thank me. Thank Google...🙂

Apply directly to coronary arteries. Banana pudding is another staple of the south that I love. Kirk
