UncleAdam use your posts to improve your grammar, conjugate fry to fries. Also UncleAdam I understand you live in the middle of nowhere that coming from your details but I can't believe you have never heard of Hamburg. American schools should start teaching more then the 50 states to their pupils. There is a whole world outside of the USA! Whoever wrote Belgium as some silly little country, I hope belgianfreak sees that! The truth is you probably have never been there, it is quite lovely! 😛 PS: France was an Allied country during WW2 therefore it would only make sense to ban German words such as sauerkraut.
I think it's just the principle of banning French related items, just the name I think. If my memory serves me correctly we called sauerkraut Liberty Cabbage during the second World War.

Originally posted by UncleAdamUncleAdam, I used to go to school in PA, I lived in Villanova (doubt you know of it) and went to Welsh Valley Middle School. The school was good but I also lived in a very wealthy part of the US where the school received much more funding then lets say the inner Philly schools. So thats my first point, it depends where you live in the US if you receive a good education or not. My second point is kids will be kids in any part of the world, its just not in the US where kids don't pay attention to the teachers. Do you pay attention in school UncleAdam? Your spelling, I'm sorry to say, is awful, even compared to mine!
