Why can't you Americans just call them 'chips'? (In Britain, thinly sliced fried potatoes are called 'crisps'π
'Hamburgers' sounds a bit German (it's named after a German city!) How about Liberty Buns? π
I dont know why we dont call them crisps, but I like Freedom Frys, it has a nice ring to itπ
Hamburger Germany? do they have good tasteing hamburgers? π

I think it's just the principle of banning French related items, just the name I think. If my memory serves me correctly we called sauerkraut Liberty Cabbage during the second World War.
Originally posted by UncleAdamI hear they were originated in Belgeum.. or some other silly little country. The style of cut was called a french or something similar. So the fries are frenched. Nothing to do with France... or they would be France Fries?

I know what a pagan is. Your definition of paganism is the broadest possible one. There are people who use a much more specific definition, such as Wiccans. I was curious as to what orkyboy's conception of paganism was. The fact that he listed Pagan as his religious choice indicates that he IS willing to discuss the issue, otherwise he wouldn't have brought it up in the first place.
