I know he was great (to a point) in American History X (although to be honest I think the director takes much of the credit for that), but last week I watched (reluctantly, I'm a huge fan of Manhunter) Red Dragon and saw Edward Norton single-handedly destroy the role of Will Graham...insipid, effete, weak, forgettable - everything the character was not supposed to be. It's the first time I can remember seeing someone as bored by his own performance as the people watching him.

Russell Crowe, can't act but boy can he chuck a phone.
Russell Crowe's all right, but nothing compared with the God-like figure he sees himself as.
Worst actor would have to be Oliver Gruner. Anybody seen any of his tasteless, drivelling cr@p? He was in a couple of B-grade action films in the 90's. One of them was called TNT. Absolute rubbish. Never heard of him again, and I hope to God it stays that way.
(Closely followed by Orlando Bloom: he's a good example of the fact that the acting industry is being overrun with models. He seems to think the only way he can convey any emotion is by furrowing his brow. About half of the amateur actors out there could rival his conviction)
