So you think it prudent to take such aggressive action against me on your own without your Patron's knowledge or blessing? That's an interesting concept of how to serve your Patron well.
I'm serving my patron very well - look at the list of regions and how many I've secured for him. He was rather psychotic with my actions this turn but ... being a client doesn't necessarily mean being a humble lapdog - I do retain some autonomy. 😉
If my actions come back to bite my behind - it least the game will be a wee bit more interesting!

When it was made known to me by Rome that you were his vassal, and in light of my calling off my attack, as well as that of Bythinia and Phoenicia on Thrace at Rome's behest, I felt that I could count on those under Rome's patronage not to bite the hand that was extended in friendship and trust to their benefactor. Silly me.
I dismissed Bythinia for insubordination to me. He even apologized to me and to Rome but I still reluctantly had to let him go. What you've done has trumped that action by a large measure.
I disagree that you've served Rome well. You've made him look like either a very poor, ineffective leader who has no control over his vassal's whims or a complete backstabber to one who has trusted him to this point. Either way, you've made him look very bad.
Well done.

Be that as it may, my leash has been shortened considerably ... who knows, my precipitous actions may cause the world to fall on my head - if it does I'll do my best to take as many with me as possible.
Alternately, maybe my patron will forgive me - we are well placed geographically and ultimately I hope to secure a win for myself and my patron - and whoever else best meets my liege's criteria.
What I don't want is to have the regions/gold that I do and not have at least some say in what I do!
