what a monster!!

will they get bigger than this?
how will america respond ? 😉
... starting with nearly double a jumbos passenger load ... they think they can take almost 3 times as many! (with 20% less cost)

(ekranoplan is/was bigger but not as useful)

melbourne is busy getting a longer runway ....

Is it really going to be practical though? It takes long enough to get all the passengers and their baggage checked in, loaded and settled on a 747, imagine the palaver of getting three time that many people in!

i guess they will have an extra door or two or three or four ....
they only just fit into the standard docking design.

but if this is the way of the future then changes will be made.

The Antonov 225 will still be bigger, but there's only one of those and it's a cargo jet only.

They said similar things when the 747 first came out, but then changed their minds and just decided to cram in more seats instead.

The A380 goes past a little village called Luton in Devon, coincidence? I think not....

Bwahaha...Brisbane already has a big enough runway! I believe Melbourne is paying out 200 million dollars (AUD).

And I believe it can only hold 40 percent more than the 747.

So what country are u from again Chan? Home of the Brave? It was the home of the brave, upto a couple of hundred years ago, when all the braves were killed off. Now its 'home of the guy who's brave cos he's spent more money developing bigger guns than the rest.' Doesn't quite have the same ring to it though, does it? 😛

First, what has your comment to do with the Airbus, which is the topic of this thread?
Second, I come from the greatest country on the planet, a beacon of light to millions, a country built by hardwork...and it ain't Scotland/Ireland, home of my paternal ancestors...

Yeah, America was/is the home of the brave....brave Irishmen/women even helped settle the country...yeah, the Indians were brave...they had no choice...what shall I do to appease them? They own all the casinos in the the States, get free medical care, etc...I can't help that many of them choose alcoholism as a way of life...I wasn't around in the 19th century to kill Indians, and yes, I do think that they got a raw deal; the conquored always get the raw deal...ask the Aborigines in OZ...I think you really feel that America should have ceased expantionism at Plymouth Rock, no?...quite ludicrous, don't you think?

The US spends more $ on defense because YOU (Europe) and our brainless politicians dictate that we SHALL be the policeman of the world...you Irish certainly ain't gonna step up to the table, although I wish that you would 'cause I'm tired of seeing Americans/Brits killed fighting terrorism...enjoy the safety blanket that we provide...I would, if the shoe were on the other foot...by the way, my favorite baseball team is the Atlanta BRAVES...go figure...peace, brother....😉
