Who saw which acts from the Live Earth concerts? I only saw a few, but I was surprised by how bad some of them were. It was a mixed bag at best. The few standouts turned out to be mostly from bands I don't even like!

Of the very few I saw, here are my picks and snots:

GOOD

Duran Duran
Xzibit
Police (good, but not good with John Mayer...mostly because of the latter)
Roger Waters
Kelly Clarkson
Bon Jovi

BAD

Linkin Park (Chester Bennington should have blown out his voice permanently, for all our sakes...)
Red Hot Chili Peppers (the band was good, but Anthony Keidis is a terrible singer and John Frusciante needs a new tailor, pronto...at least they've got Will Ferrell on drums)
Metallica (just sloppy...)
AFI (Davey Havok's face reminds me of Mac Tonight...)
Fall Out Boy (possibly one of the worst things I've ever seen...)

What say you?!

Actually I really liked Keith Urban & Alicia Keys doing Gimme Shelter.
I also thought Madonna was reasonably good as well.

Overall, I agree, it was a real mixed bag. There were many acts I didn't care for.

My house is one of the most desireable greenhouses around. Tipper and I took weeks to find just the right shade of green. It looks nice, but it sucks electricity like there was no tomorrow. - Al Gore

Before this degenerates into a recitation of "The Knight Who Say 'Nee'", did anyone else see any acts? Who was good? Who sucked?
