My all time pet hate is waiting. Waiting for anything, a book I've reserved to arrive at the liabrary, waiting for someone to reply to an e-mail waiting in line, waiting for dinner to cook, waiting for money to grow on trees...
Waiting 😠
Bank charges. 😠

Probable provocation? Hmmm, it seems to me that you are trying to prove that it's my own fault, at least sometimes. When conversing, I'm trying to be polite, don't sound as a braggart or talk about things I'm not quite sure, hence leave a somewhat good impression about myself, although I have to admit that sometimes I'm a bit too sarcastic.
Anyway, I haven't thought about this kind of attitude too much. It's just a thing I don't like no matter who's fault it is.

was to try to learn first hand what it's like to be 17 in 2008. The other motive was simply to try to give you an objective sounding board,
in the hope you might be able sort out the adult behavior fueling your peeve. Plus I was enjoying your honesty. That's all. Intent was not
in any way to interrogate as you concluded. Sorry you were offended and would suggest we let the conversation go for now. All the best...

Very British of you, Wolfie 🙂
Apparently it's only us Brits that get annoyed over queues.
Everytime I complain about queues I always mention how "we British are better than this" or what have you, no one has an excuse to cut the queue, get in line, a straight line, no you can't queue in groups, argh!!! 😠

you don't know what you're doing to me. You're killing me. I'm in pain.
note to self; don't tell Nordlys what ya greatest fear is, she'll use it against ya for sure

other 17 year old peeves, if you're in the mood to drain the swamp...

Any other peeves? Hmm, I think I'm quite optimistic and there aren't many things that can drive me crazy. In the moment I can only think of Burger King and similar fast-food companies. Fast-food sucks, I can't fill my stomach with it for more than an hour. When I'm with friends, we go to McDonald's, I spend a lot of money and in the end, I'm hungry again. I prefer slow-food, for example, boiled potatoes with a steak, some salad, cottage cheese and a glass (or a pint) of milk. But hey, is that really a peeve? That's just taste.
