I can't stand the noise of people eating, especially if I can hear their saliva being mixed around in their mouth with the food. I plug my ears usually if there's people eating nearby, or if they're going to be a while then I'll move to another room. Unless it's my brother, in which case I'll just hit him until he goes away.

It is etiquette to make as much slurping and sloppy mouth noises as possible...... it means you are enjoying your food. It's gross and enough to make one sick!
They also spit on the floor at every available opportunity, biling it first in the back of the throat with a unique sound of scchrrurp. They even spit on restaurant floors whilst you are eating!
I'm highly looking forwards to the reports from the Beijing Olympics - there'll be as much reporting on the realities of China life as much as sport. The world is in for a surprise.
But there are true, super qualities also..... it's not all doom and gloom...in fact quite the opposite. But the eating and other habits do leave very much to be desired!
People who claim that bullying as a fact of life that all kids must go through (like puberty), thus implying that we all must just accept it.
Explosions in space on sci-fi programs that go "BOOM!", when everybody knows that there's no sound in the vacuum of space. 😀
