I got on a bus the other day and pretended to have a bus pass to the driver - I don't like or use buses usually and I thought I should have a free trial of their service before committing meself to paying.

I have decided against subscribing to the bus service for the time being.

I don't usually use the word "cheapster", I prefer "non-sub scum".

There was a guy shopping in the local grocery store at lunchtime. He was sampling the grapes and other things in the open. When the manager said something to him he replied, "How do I know if I want to buy them without tasting them?" Then, after he had a few he decided, "Nah, too sweet." and left.

The next time he came in and tried that they called the police and had him arrested. Yeah, he went to court and the judge fined him for stealing. He got probation, but now he has to see a parole officer. 🙁
